A Celebration of Evolution
Some stories begin with a dream. Mine began with a doll.
Barbie has been an integral part of my childhood, She was my first muse, my first canvas. I spent countless hours designing and creating tiny outfits, completely immersed in a world where imagination had no limits. Without realizing it then, those small, joyful moments shaped the path I would follow for the rest of my life.
That love for creation led me into the world of fashion, where I spent over a decade working as a fashion designer. Later, I transitioned into fashion education, sharing my knowledge and passion as a lecturer for nearly another decade.
Yet, somewhere between deadlines, responsibilities, and “grown-up” roles, I found myself missing something; the whimsy, the playfulness, the quiet magic of creating just for the joy of it.
Everything changed in 2017.
My then boyfriend, now husband gifted me my first Curvy Barbie doll. That simple, thoughtful gesture rekindled something deep within me. I picked up my tools again and began creating, not out of obligation, but out of love. One piece at a time, I rediscovered the joy I had once known so well.
In April 2021, on a quiet whim, I opened my Etsy shop and listed a single piece, a basic black jumpsuit for a Curvy doll. Just a few days later, I received my first order. It felt surreal. That one small moment marked the beginning of something much bigger than I could have imagined.
The past five years have been nothing short of a blessing. Through this journey, I’ve had the privilege of sending my creations across the world and connecting with an incredible community of doll lovers who share the same passion, nostalgia, and appreciation for artistry.
And now, it’s time for the next chapter.
This year, I’ve taken a leap toward building something more personal - my own independent website. A space where I can grow, create more freely, and serve you better. While I’m still learning and figuring things out along the way, this new platform represents a dream unfolding in real time.
